Who we are
Priority Nails is an app that nail techs use to run their business: bookings, clients, payments, and taxes. Clients use a nail tech’s booking link on prioritynails.com to request appointments. This policy covers both the app and the website.
What we collect
From nail techs:
- Your email address and password (passwords are stored scrambled, never readable).
- Your name, business name, booking link, time zone, and profile photo.
- Your services, prices, photos, hours, time off, and booking policies.
- The clients, appointments, payments, tips, expenses, receipts, products, and tax records you add.
- Your phone’s notification address, so we can send you alerts.
From clients who book:
- Your name, email, and phone number.
- The service you request, the time you pick, notes, and any inspiration photos you upload.
- That you agreed to the nail tech’s policies, and when.
- Whether you asked for text reminders.
Automatically: when you send a booking request, we briefly keep your internet (IP) address to stop spam. It’s deleted after one day.
We don’t use advertising trackers or analytics tools, and we don’t collect your location or contacts.
How we use it
- To show nail techs their schedule, clients, and earnings.
- To send booking emails (requests, confirmations, changes, and reminders).
- To send nail techs notifications on their phone.
- To keep accounts secure and stop spam.
We never sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Clients’ information is seen only by the nail tech you booked with. Nail techs can’t see each other’s clients.
Companies that run the app for us store or deliver information only to do that job:
- Supabase: our database, sign-in, and photo storage.
- Vercel: hosts the prioritynails.com website.
- Resend: sends our emails.
- Twilio: sends text reminders.
- Expo and Apple: deliver phone notifications.
Payments: we don’t process card payments. If you pay a nail tech with Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Apple Cash, that happens in those apps under their own privacy policies.
We may share information if the law requires it.
Text messages
If you check “Text me appointment reminders” when you book, we’ll text the phone number you gave reminders about that appointment: up to 3 per appointment, at times your nail tech chooses. We don’t send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop getting texts, or HELP for help. You can also email us.
We never sell or share your phone number or your agreement to get texts with anyone for their marketing. Your number is only shared with Twilio, to deliver the texts.
How long we keep it
We keep a nail tech’s information while their account is open. When a nail tech deletes their account, their business, clients, appointments, payments, and photos are deleted right away. Spam-check records are deleted after one day.
Your choices
- Nail techs can edit their information in the app, and delete their account under Settings → Delete account.
- Clients can ask the nail tech they booked with to change or remove their information, or email us and we’ll help.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information or to delete it at any time.
Security
Information is encrypted while it travels and is locked so each nail tech can only reach their own business. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if something goes wrong.
Children
Priority Nails isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. For big changes, we’ll tell nail techs in the app or by email.
